Skills To Foster course
HI
My partner and I are due to go on the skills to foster course this weekend.
Just though I'd post to try and find out a bit more about it and to see if anyone has any advice for us.
I'm really looking forward to it and hope we get through to the next stage.
I've researched a lot to do with fostering over the past few months and have decided that it is something I really want to do.
Look forward to hearing from you.
thanks
Lucky me.

Re: Skills To Foster course
Good luck with your course this weekend.
Having done your reseach you should have no problem, sounds like you are going into it with your eyes open
Just a little advice is that be aware that you will be being assessed through the course, so make sure you are pc and do your homework!
Let us know how you get on

Re: Skills To Foster course
Yeah, they'll be noting what you say, how you interact, how you communicate, if you lead or follow, etc, etc. You don't have to be a big muth but just try and demonstrate you're keen and interested and not afraid to have a go.
