Anyone watch "House of tiny tearaways"?

Post  plunk on Wed Jan 26, 2011 12:53 pm

On Sky 'Really'. It's great but exactly what is Dr.Tanya a doctor of? Dr. of stating the bleeding obvious? The kids are often crazy and run around doing what they want all day. But it's not their fault, it's the dopey parents!!! There's kids that only eat chips, toddlers running around swearing, ones that always sleep in mummy's bed, there's alsorts of problems for the Doctor to sort out. Some of them can't be far of going into care. And it's always the daft parents that are the route cause. They don't want to rock the boat or will let the kids do anything as long as they have a quiet life. It's rediculous sometimes. But it's good fun watching the Doctor telling the parents to grow up.

I think Tanya is preety good, but I hate the title of the programme, as it is inevitably the parents and not the children who are at fault. I also feel uncomfortable twith the way the programme is repeated for years - some of the children featured will be in their teens now, and they have not been asked for consent to show the programme.

One of my foslings came into care because of a similar programme. her family applied to go on and the makers were so shocked they reported the family to SS and all the children were removed. The programme was not shown on TV because of this.

That Claudia Winkleman should be 'In care', she's a nut case.

Yeah, they have some pretty shocking parents on there with crazy ideas on bringing up children. I remember one mum was cracking up because her baby wouldn't sleep at night. She couldn't figure out for herself that making the poor thing drink milk allday to make her sleep whilst she watched telly was probably the reason.

I'm by no means perfect but some of the people they get on really live on another planet man.
