multi professional meeting
for my little honey.. next week.
All is good, we've had a hard (understatement) slog but have an urgent health appointment next week and a multi professional meeting. We have also been offered support.

Re: multi professional meeting
thanks guys. The support was great, not intrusive (which I was worried about) and helped just enough.
Fingers crossed for my meeting today.! Hopefully will have the plan forward.

Re: multi professional meeting
Thanks cuggley.
The meeting went really well.
I have been struggling to get support for my little honey as she was adopted out of area. Meaning we have post adoption support out of area. At the meeting today the pshycologist from LD CAMHS raised that the placing authority should continue supporting our needs and we need our area ss to become involved and allocate my honey a sw so that she can access local support. He said her needs are not being met and that is paramount and they sort the funding out seperately. So post adoption sw to speak to our area disabilities team.
We have 2 plans put forward.
The first plan is something to try before we have to put the other plan forward...with less medical intervention but less likely to work.
If we have to go with plan b, it's got to be done in a planned way with multi professional agreement, including health etc.
Given her complex disabilities it's been so difficult (well impossible) to get any services.. very frustrating when the only reason you haven't accessed support is because of adoption. Hopefully now we will get somewhere.
Post adoption support is now in place too which is helping. So things looking up.
